Should Auld Acquaintance be forgot?
Today, I led a song in the choir which I had once refused to lead in my student choir many years ago, because then I couldn’t relate to the song.
Today I thought of my former instrumentalists, a talented drummer and a genius keyboardist both very smart students as well.
I haven’t kept in touch with both of them. I had an impromptu moment to text someone asking about the two of them but didn’t follow through with the message.
Yeah, some of us have a real phobia for calling or texting people.
So, I said a prayer for them.
And, then we prayed for Syria today as well.
Uncle Kalu posed a quiz to ask where the first church in the Bible was said to be? and in what country Paul had first encountered the Lord?
The first church was in Antioch and Paul had an encounter with the Lord on the way to Damascus. Both places were in Syria.
That never crossed my mind.
So, we remembered to pray for the Peace and safety of Syria.
Should auld acquaintance be forgot?
When someone comes to your mind, a place, a thing, a people, a project.
Especially as concerns people, Please check up on that person or project.
