Yes, thank you! I clicked on this article for the males in my life and I’m glad I read it.

Men do not have enough safe spaces to express emotions and vulnerability. It’s especially worse for those who were brought up in environments that told them to toughen it up and be a man.

It’s a lot of demand and pressure, I’m discovering. I’m learning to not add to the demands already on the table, to not expect them to be a sustenance. Most sensible men understand what they need to do and know when they are falling short. I’m not saying to encourage mediocrity but just be there, men need some support too.


I guess I also need to encourage the men in my life to take their sports seriously. Thanks for this. 🙏🏽
