Why I Disagree with Alex Hormozi on This

My Unpopular Opinion on The most Important Decision You’re Going to Make in Life is Your Spouse.

So, I was watching one of Alex Hormozi’s videos and he was watching this 93 yr old billionaire say that, “the most important decision you can make in your life is your spouse. The right one is fantastic, the wrong one is a catastrophe”.

Hormozi then did his take on this popular opinion adding that, “the person you spend the rest of your life with will have the largest impact on who you become, what you achieve and how happy you are”

This advice can be said to be for two groups of people. Those yet to decide on whom to marry and those who are already married.

I don’t agree with this opinion because it is very misleading and detrimental to one set of people.

For those who are yet to marry it’s awesome. It’s a reminder to take your time before deciding on a spouse. Take a good good time.

And to those in happy marriages, it affirms their decisions. But for those in terrible marriages— it’s damning to hear that whosoever you marry can make or break you. Wow!
