The other day at a Blood bank

I told this lady at the blood bank the other day that she wasn’t the only one frustrated in this country and she straightened up.

I had just come in to inquire about my mom’s results and said hello.

To which she didn’t answer.

Then I tried again, thinking that she didn’t hear, still no answer.

It was an open door, so I moved in the room and this time said a full sentence, “excuse I’ll just like to ask about my mom’s results” still no answer.

I swear, I wasn’t mad, I honestly thought that she could not hear me.

So when she looked up yelling at me for distracting her, that was it!

I told her off. As a healthcare professional myself I would never treat someone intervener, all it takes when someone wants to talk to you and you’re busy is a simple could you on please? Just a moment please?

Of course she was upset I told her off

But the next time I came back which was about 50 minutes, she was certainly more polite.
