Better to meet a bear robbed of her cubs than a fool bent on folly
There are two types of people
1. Those who know
&
2. Those who do not know
In this second group are a terrible subset of people, those who do not know that they do not know and are hell bent on their ignorance.
When you come across these kind of people, avoid them! For your own sanity and well-being, do not engage, do not engage!
Do not seek to educate or enlighten. Perhaps out of the kindness of your heart you might want to try still, you will be investing your heart, time and energy to no avail.
How can you identify these kind of persons?
- They are pompous, proud and haughty
- They speak without evidence or are used to manufacturing facts.
- They have no consideration for others
- They cannot engage in a conversation that requires them to listen. They do not listen
- They do not seek to be informed. They do not take active steps towards learning
Have you ever seen a bear or any other animal robbed of her cubs? They are desperate and uncontrolled, still you might have more luck getting them to cooperate with you than a person set on their ignorance.
Protect yourself and if you can, protect those around them who might fall into harm’s way because of their foolish antics.
