‘In the beginning’

Many schools of thought exist about how this time and the universe came into existence.

The Big Bang theory says time as a dimension came into being alongside space at the time of the Big Bang.

Albert Einstein’s Theory of General relativity says time began to flow when spacetime itself emerged and that time and space are part of the same continuum.

Ancient Greek philosophers often questioned whether time has an absolute beginning or if it is eternal.

In quantum mechanics, one theory suggests that at the Planck scale, time may not exist in the way we experience it, instead we see it as a macroscopic phenomenon.

The cyclical universe model states that time is part of an infinite loop of expansion and contractions.

The words used by these philosophers and scientists are big English words, you could write a book with some of the terminologies, yet, these are just a few of the theories on the origin of time, there are many more we do not know about.

But we will focus on the biblical perspective of how time, the universe and humanity came into being.
