Science (spaceship, buildings, medicine) is not too different you know, that’s why we work with hypothetical questions, but first someone must have thought about it and voiced it, then we research.

I’d also add it’s better to be analytical than to go along with every single thought and proposal. I can’t imagine living in a society where people say yes to everything without a second thought.
