Life’s Ultimate Resource
See then that you walk circumspectly, not as fools but as wise redeeming the time, because the days are evil. Ephesians 5:15–16 (NKJV)
The first time I ever had medical insurance in my life was as a medical student. It was great knowing I didn’t have to budget for medicals every month, I could just show up to the hospital in case I fell ill and everything would be taken care of.
One time I arrived late by like 15 minutes and was made to pay for missing the appointment.
It was definitely a shocking moment for someone who came from a culture where being late by 15 minutes was not a big deal.
That occasion made me understand that sometimes when you don’t value time, you don’t just lose time, you lose money, in worse scenarios, you lose trust, relationships, health, you might even lose freedom.
Time as a Resource
The Oxford learners dictionary defines resources as , “a supply of something that a country, an organization or a person has and can use, especially to increase their wealth”
What is one thing everyone on earth has that they didn’t need to buy and yet they sell or give it freely everyday to another?
