Leaning into Who I am and Loving It

I was thinking of the Nigerian music industry today and this is a phenomenon seen across all the music world;

Just when you think you’ve seen everything, someone else comes up with a brand new song and a brand new beat.

Personally I’ve always struggled with niching down as a writer and I’ve written about that here many times.

I’m having a little understanding now, I won’t Say I have all the answers but someone advised me the other day that the niche is me and I’m buying into that.

I love seeing people follow and unfollow, especially for the unfollows because it tells you, that you are not the one for them and that’s fine.

There’s lot of musicians in the world and I don’t listen to half of them and that’s fine.

They have their market.

Everyone has their appeal and their market.

So I’m leaning more into who I am.

Thankful for those who see something they like.

Here’s a reminder to keep writing, the more you write, the more you lean into who you are.

Here’s a reminder to never back down because of likes nor followers count, your market is out there.
