Eight Biblical Quotes on Self Reflection and Mindfulness

It’s a good thing to self reflect. Just a few minutes a day, preferably at night. Stop everything. Have some alone time. Go over your day, examine your thoughts, words and actions. And just ponder if you could have done things differently. Maybe write about it too.

Here are some biblical quotes that made me and still make me stop and reflect;

“In returning and rest you shall be saved; In quietness and confidence shall be your strength.” ~Isaiah 30:15

Of recent, a good friend said something hurtful and I didn’t retort. In my silence, he recognized what he had done and immediately apologized.

This quote always pulls me back from the noise in the world. It’s always a reminder to stay silent for a little bit more and I’m always amazed at the things that happen, when I do just that. There is strength in quietness!

“He who is without sin among you, let him throw a stone at her first.” ~John 8:7
