Are the Beautiful Ones Not Yet Born?
I dressed my daughter up for church today, my pick was a beige chiffon trouser and a marooon colored top — she raised the trouser up and commented that it was ‘too big’.
She won’t even leave the room until the outfit was taken off. She is 2 and a half years old.
It was my preferred style of dressing, not hers.
So I let her pick what she wanted. She went for a light blue checkered dress which we all loved, but she circled with it in the living room and then she went back to her room, and wanted it off. Then she picked a yellow and pink dress which she ended up wearing to church.
My daughter knows not to wear what she doesn’t like.
In contrast, I, for last year’s family picture, wore a dress which I didn’t like, for the photo shoot, simply because it was given by an elder and I wanted to honor her and show appreciation.
I look at the work ethics of gen Zers today and I envy them, they are far ahead in their thinking compared to previous generations.
The beautiful Ones are Born
